Director Mickey Reece is getting better with each movie he makes. He knows all of his films have blemishes and imperfections. Agnes is a good example. The screenplay could be a little smarter. It misleads the audience a little with a loss of faith subplot that serves as a backbeat, not the meat of the story. And it has a tonal shift from horror (and some comedy) to a thoughtful religious drama. It's a bumpy ride. But Reece's films have been entertaining and watchable for 10 years now. Give his movies a try!

What possesses folks, these days, to make movies without proper endings? The issue was never resolved.. not even 'kind of'. It was flat out abandoned. The vague recollection I have of this movie is that inanimate objects were moving, and the subject had demonic voices.. there *was* a demon, but the whole story line was just abandoned with a light, parting, restaurant conversation.

The movie starts out as a horror-ish film and takes a sharp left and ends as a drama with a sudden abrupt ending. Really lame. 👎
