Aftermath (2017)

Such a great story this movie is basing upon, yet they manage to ruin it entirely, can't believe it. Disappointing movie, can hardly justify one star to be honest. Not recommended. Action is slow, story is boring and acting is weak, to the point the movie cannot make you invested in anything really. Shame, because the source material is one of the most interesting stories I heard of.

This could have been a great movie but it turned out to be a shallow disappointment. Starts off well but fizzles out, the plot build up leads to you to expect more but it seems the script writer ran out of ideas, time, or both. Don't waste your money.

The film is based on the real-life Überlingen mid-air collision, and the subsequent murder of Danish air traffic controller Peter Nielsen at Skyguide by Russian architect Vitaly Kaloyev, who held Nielsen responsible for the deaths of his wife and two children in the disaster.
