About this movie

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is the ultimate story of unrequited love... the shapes and forms it takes and the highs and lows of the characters' lives. We follow the journey of Ayan Sanger, the sweet, quirky son of an industrialist, who nurtures a hidden passion for singing... Alizeh, the charming and funny, but neglected youngest daughter in a daunting family of aristocrats... Saba, the stunningly beautiful divorceé, who pours her pain into her poetry. How the three characters' lives intertwine and connect and how they find closure in the romantic and unromantic forms the crux of this film. CBFC U/A (DIL/2/229/2016-MUM)

Songs are so good but the movie is just pathetic. It tries to take you on an emotional ride but it utterly fails to do so. Unless you have a lot of patience and 3 hours to waste, you won't be able to watch the whole film.

Too many highly paid artists in a non sensical story. Anushka has performed ok. Others are not to worth. There are many individual elements to attract audience like good songs, SRK, many well known artists, some romantic scenes. But as a whole one can't find any value of this movie. I got bored after 50 mins. I'll suggest people not to pay anything for this or this kind of movie. Worst direction and meaningless cenamatic moments will make you frustrated 🥴.

I love this film, it even knew how to do cheesy justice. All the actors are exceptional and play their given roles with sincerity and conviction. The writing was flawless. The Direction never misses a beat or leaving the viewer scratching their head. Without trying to the cinematography manages to captures the simple beauty of everyday life. This film truly embodies the word Classic.
