About this movie

The Wilderness Family is based on a true story of a modern day family who became bored with the hassles of the city life in Los Angeles and moved to the Rocky Mountains, never to return. Skip Robinson and his wife Pat, along with their two children, Jenny and Toby, begin an incredible encounter with nature. After building a log cabin in a peaceful mountainous area, the family befriends a pair of bear cubs and is menaced by a ferocious grizzly. Some people might like this better, but it's not for me. I like something that's more funny. I just barely laughed once, and that's not enough for me. It's not crude, so it's good in that sense.

The Wilderness Family trilogy are some of the best heart-warming family films of all time. These films shows us that even though there will be tough times ahead and struggles, we can overcome anything. There needs to be more films like these made in Hollywood, less about the special effects and more character driven stories.
