Addicted (Unrated)

I really wanted to like this movie because the books from Zane were always interesting. Boris kodjoe's acting was less than amazing in this film..my opinion. Tasha smith does better in a comedic role in my opinion she was unbelievable as a licensed therapist because she's been so typecast in almost every other film she's been in. The movie was slow and the plot was preditable. Wouldn't watch it again or recommend anyone pay for it.

I read this book years ago, a few times. One of my favorites. When I heard the movie was coming out I reread it two more times. I'm not unrealistic. I know mostly, that movie versions don't usually fully mirror the books. Halfway through I thought they were gonna at least stick to the story. The basics. But a lot was left out. Last 40 minutes were rushed and too different. Different ending. Makes the moral of the story just.. off. It's not bad.. definitely not as great as it could've been.

The book was just so much better than this over acted, poorly executed film. Great actor's were picked for the movie it just didnt translate the same on the big screen.
