Nothing happens in this movie. I understand that the point is to show how a real SEAL mission might run however there is only twenty minutes or so of actual SEALs doing what SEALs are good at. The rest of the movie is a poorly acted mess that doesn't really go anywhere. I don't believe for a second that a CIA operative would warrant a huge military action. I can only speak from my understanding of my own military but MI-6 would have disavowed knowing who she was and probably sent a small team of MI-6 agents to clean up any evidence. She's a special agent not a diplomats daughter. Also I couldn't stand how neatly everything wraps up in the end it just doesn't feel like reality. Whole thing seems like its saying "Look at us, we're Americans, aren't we cool!" bollocks.

First of all, the acting in some of the non-combat related scenes may not seem to be up to par with many other Hollywood productions. This is likely due to the fact that these men are actual heroes and not the famous professional actors that many people admire. The film gives a glimpse of the US military's fight against terrorism abroad and domestically while not inserting too much Hollywood bloat that is found in many military movies. It really struck me as the viewer because every day, men like this, in all branches of the military, give their lives so that we as citizens can live peaceful lives. The film also seems to be a "shot across the bow" against terrorism by showcasing just a small amount of the amount of superior technology, training, and communication that the US military has in its arsenal. Overall, I would recommend this film to anyone. While it may not be as action packed as more well known war movies, it seems to realistically portray events that likely occur on a daily basis without us knowing of their existance. Despite all the problems the US currently has, it makes me proud to be an American and is reassuring to have men of this quality safeguarding our nation.

I've seen many a' Rambo-esque flick as so many reviewers refer to this movie but I have yet to see an equally comprehensive portrayal of how men and women of the Specialized Forces of our GREAT nation routinely work through situations that would confound (in real-time) the brightest and most studious tacticians that our country's colleges have to offer. Definitely a keeper in my "movie vault" but more importantly, *definitely* a reminder of what a select group of our nation's Sons and Daughters *ARE* willing to sacrifice in order to give those of us *NOT* putting our lives into a minute-by-minute, tactical live-or-die situation, a chance to voice our opinions of their motives and/or outcomes.
