About this movie

Love brings together what peer pressure and lifestyles seek to keep apart in this coming-of-age story based on the bestselling book. She's a straitlaced preacher's daughter and he's an unmotivated delinquent. When events thrust him into her world, he begins an unexpected journey he'll never forget.

This has been one of my favorite movies since the very first time I watched it. I laughed, cried, and just became so emotionally attached to the two characters. I have watched it more times than I can count. If you like this movie, I highly recommend reading the book. It's a quick read but not too much like the movie. And I think the book is better, with a better ending, And so much more emotional to read. (I've read it more than I've watched the movie) but I love them both.

LOVE story of stories! proving we must stand strong on our love and faith in Jesus Christ, never compromising when unbelievers come into our christian world. We, christians are to be the strong loving force that reaches their hearts pulling them into the arms of the Lord!! Also, proving everyone can experience love at any age or condition of life; even if we only have months to live - God wants us all to be "so loved!" amen....

Shane West redeemed all jocks in this movie. Mandy Moore did a great job of being the type of girl who was comfortable with herself and did not care what others thought of her. Unlike other teen movies regarding popularity, she did not change who she was in order to fit in. In fact, she had Landon Carter falling apart over her all because she was different, and wasn't afraid to be different. I love Landons transformation. This is the perfect love story.
