Just could not like this! Poor script. Poor direction.Poor editing. Poor story line. Just added to the monotony of this movie, which is so slow paced and at times boring, I could not get into it. It dragged in places, and only towards the end does it really pick up, but even the end is dragged out. Having said that, the main protagonist Olivia Wilde, cannot be faulted, she does make good with what she has to work with. But if this is in any way an attempt to bring to light domestic violence and how people survive and overcome it- this film was a poor attempt at doing so!. It shows more a lack of research and empathy into domestic violence and more a rush into making a movie on a subject not properly understood.

A genre bending survivalist revenge film,easy to admire but hard to love .It plays out like a female Equaliser with added clever flashbacks and plot twists.Minimalist and stark its literally cut back to the bone, delivering a powerful but not knockout filmic experience .

Should have researched before watching! It's not a bad movie as a whole. Some good acting, especially from the lead Olivia Wilde. I feel the issue with the movie is the trailer and how it gives a wrong impression. If you're expecting a female 'Death Wish' vigilante kind of movie with action akin to the likes of 'Taken', well, you'll be disapointed. The movie is more about the leads emotional strugle with her ingrained trauma. Good movie, just not what I expected. Oh yeah, Krav Maga from a book!?
