About this movie
A tale of suspicion and prejudice in the deep south as a young lawyer defends a black mill worker charged with murdering two white men who raped his 10 year-Old daughter. Oh my God this movie upsets me so much, I know it's very important to help us understand what went on in those times (& still goes on now) but it's brutal. The acting draws you into the heart & soul of the characters & makes me feel like I was living it along side them. It's very emotional at the end, heartbreaking, have your tissues handy throughout if I were you. Get ready for a rollercoaster ride.
