Not a dry eye in the house... I have 3 cats so this was a must watch... However, you soon realise that it's a harrowing tale of the evils of class A drug addiction rather than a cat lover's entertainment piece. The lead actor is fantastic in his depiction of a man journeying from hell to join the real world... Superb!

This film had so much potential, only to be let down by what can only be described as some of the worst acting I've ever seen. It's so hammy and contrived that it makes it uncomfortable to watch. If you enjoyed the book steer well clear of the film.

I haven't read the book so can't compare. The plot narratives were a little over simplified as expected. Drug use is a bit too forefront for family film though. I did enjoy it, there was a lighter side to the film as well and afew laughs, a great true story!!!
