A Star is Born

Esther Blodgett comes to Hollywood with dreams of stardom. Enter movie star Norman Maine (Fredric March), whom Esther meets at a Hollywood party. Maine gets Esther a screen test, but as she rises to celebrity, Norman's stardom plummets.
