A SIMPLE FAVOUR, a stylish post-modern film noir directed by Paul Feig, centers around Stephanie (Anna Kendrick), a mommy blogger who seeks to uncover the truth behind her best friend Emily's (Blake Lively) sudden disappearance from their small town. Stephanie is joined by Emily's husband Sean (Henry Golding) in this thriller filled with twists and betrayals, secrets and revelations, love and loyalty, murder and revenge.

Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick are amazing in this and Blake pretending to be dead to spook Anna is so like her personality so funny (can't believe the film was done in 2018, so for Anna it was after Pitch Perfect 3 Movie and Blake had the shallows 2016). (its funny that it was on BBC1 yesterday and her husband was also on Itv2 yesterday - Ryan Reynolds - also her other film she did in 2016 'The Shallows' with Blake is on next week on film4)

I love blake lively, its a good movie. I would off rather she had escaped with the 4 million life insurance and shot that traitor stephanie dead.

Good mix of suspense, thriller, crime and drama. Good performances and engaging screenplay. Lush setup for some Vlog scenes. Female cast is awesome and certainly the highlight of the movie. Anna is super cool.
