Amazing movie, watched it after seeing it pop up on so many movie lists on social media apps and was not dissapointed. I was not sure going into it if i was actually watching the sub or dub version but it turned out not to matter. A lot of people are complaining that without subtitles to convey what the characters are texting or writing it becomes much harder to watch as a movie. However i found it just fine if you have a couple brain cells to use on intepretation. I am sure that subtitles would increase the value of the movie with the dub, so to each their own. Would definetliy recommend this to others, both anime enthusiast and not.

This film is a masterpiece. But there were no subtitles for the Japanese text. I don't know how they could expect someone watching an English dub to be able to read Japanese. The text displayed on the screen is very important to the plot. Maybe I just couldn't figure out how to turn them on because I've seen lots of people give five star reviews. If this issue could be fixed i would give this film. If anyone reading this knows how to give the Japanese text English subtitles or if it has been updated please let me know and I will change my review.

An absolute must-watch. I found myself completely taken by this movie through its ability to throw you on a beautiful emotional rollercoaster, and what is even better is it doesn't leave you disappointed at the end, but instead makes you feel a weird mix of happiness with a pinch of sadness. (But the good kind of sadness)
