A Sad State Of Affairs

The Guy has a dream to someday revive the small-time vaudeville circuit in America, but in the meantime he stands along deserted country roads collecting tips. One day he meets Sandra, a busy young lady who ignores him, which, in turn, fascinates him. Coincidentally, they are both staying at an old roadside motel, which affords the Guy lots of time to sabotage Sandra's plans to go about her business elsewhere. Along the way, they learn that life is pretty pointless, it's important to have principles (or not), and you can solve nearly any problem with a little song and dance
