There's a few jump scares here and there but I pleasantly enjoyed watching the movie. The creature looks very strange. I loved the actors/actresses that had partaken in this movie that were brilliant and amazing at doing what there told. Emily Blunt is an incredible mother in this film. John Krasinski is a extraordinary father in this movie how he is very protective of the children and helpful and would do anything for them. Both child actors did extremely well in this movie by doing what they were told and I also like how they cast a deaf girl it made the film seem more realistic and the boy did great job. Would definitely recommend watching this movie between the ages of 16+ because any age younger than this would have the possibly of having nightmares that might occur by watching this film. This movie is not for the squeamish or faint-hearted but other than that I extremely enjoyed this cinematography. There was suspenseful music and there was a little bit of dialogue. It's worth watching only once. I usually am not a fan of these types of motion picture but I thoroughly appreciated being entertained and it's so eye-catching at times and you'll definitely adore this film.

Has to be my all-time favourite horror movie. Awesome script. Great cast and crew. I salute Krasinski, great debut into the horror film genre. Emily Blunt, enough said. One talented 21st century female actress. Bring on part 2, friendly warning b4 viewing, Spontaneous urination & leakage might occur.

Just a bad film. It had a really interesting premise, but there were too many plot holes and pacing issues. The end was a complete letdown. Will say the child actors did a great job.
