2 and a half stars for special effects and original horror idea. Scenes where bloody bodies would slide up walls, dead bodies in bags would talk and stairs turning into swamps made this watchable. The acting was atrocious. The mother in the movie said every line in the exact same tone and the logic didn't make sense. In one scene Freddie teleports in front of her and 5 seconds later he's running after her. In another scene he walks through walls & then he can't at the end. It's ok at best!

Couldn't believe how poor, and unscary, this effort was. Had never seen the film but was always scared of Freddy as a kid growing up in the 80's. Utter joke of a film, should be erased from existence.

WATCHED ALL THE NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET BUT NOW I DON'T LIKE FREDDY KRUGER COS HE'S A CHILD MURDER AND PERVERT STALKING YOUNG GIRLS WHY THERE SLEEPING AND HAVING A DREAMING
