The story begins with Tristram Shandy narrating his life story as he sees it. Crammed with literary jokes and dark humour, Shandy's warmped childhood tales are constantly interrupted by his family and household, inadvertently revealing far more about himself than any conventional autobiography.

This movie is disjointed and conveluted! In short no logical story and not funny. Actually the only movie ive never finished, ever.

Whilst Sterne draws his story out, the film succinctly captures the original material in 90 minutes. Bravo!
