About this movie

In this warm, coming-of-age comedy, shy bird-watching enthusiast David (Kodi Smit-McPhee, ParaNorman) is struggling to cope with his father's impending remarriage when he stumbles across a duck that had been presumed extinct. Assembling a ragtag team of friends, the group of teenagers goes off on a quest for proof with the help of a birding expert (Academy Award winner Sir Ben Kingsley). Also starring Katie Chang (The Bling Ring) and Alex Wolff (The Naked Brothers Band). Presented by Focus World and Screen Media Films. (Original Title - A Birder's Guide to Everything)

I love birds and everything, but this movie was so bad. I don't know what your excitations are going in, but I hope they're not a lot.

This fantastic movie focuses on the wonderful, albeit mostly unknown, world of birding at the same time as dealing with life issues and death of loved ones.
