Keanu Reeves stars in the action-adventure epic, 47 Ronin. After a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their kind, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and reclaim their honor. This band of ronin must seek help from Kai (Keanu Reeves) an enslaved half-breed they once rejected in their ultimate fight for redemption in a savage world of mythic and wondrous terrors. The real story is very good reading and you should make sure you do because it is inspiring. This movie should not have been called the same title because it is so different. The effects are great, the acting wooden and the fights pretty cool. How this movie differs the most from the book is the build up of suspense, the original held you until the end where as this movie was a bit of a spruce goose and failed to leave the ground so to speak. Having said that the film was enjoyable and reasonably directed but extremely poorly edited.

Why isnt this movie rentable.. ill purchase the rental but i dont want to own it till then its 1 star only cause i cant give minus one star

The first 5 minutes starts well then is ruined by terrible acting. I will have to watch it again though. The other movie "Ronin" was much better.
