30 Days Of Night

I thought it was really good. Even though the movie is like over 13 years old it really doesn't show it in anyway. It's because well 13 years ago wasn't that different but also because of the setting of Alaska and the fact that nothing in the movie is really dependant on technology. It's just people trying to survive against vampires. Seriously though. If I got turned into a bad a** vampire that was the strongest of all there is no way I'd kill myself. I'd be sort of a mysterious good vampire.

I live in Alaska. Other than the fact that Alaska has NO sheriffs, this was a pretty good horror flick. The North-Slope Borough does have a small police force that a small bit of research would have revealed. Because someone did not do their research about the lack of sheriffs in Alaska means I can only give this 4 stars.

Refreshing vampire film that for some reason was harshly judged by critics. Was it as good as Let The Right One In or Dracula? Well, no, but none the less this film is a solid rent.
