About this movie

28 Weeks Later, the follow-up to the hugely successful 28 Days Later, picks up six months after the rage virus has annihilated Mainland Britain. The US army declares that the war against infection has been won, and that the reconstruction of the country can begin. As the first wave of refugees return, a family is reunited - but one of them unwittingly carries a terrible secret. The virus is not yet dead, and this time, it is more dangerous than ever.

This film is fine if you like big explosions, chase scenes, and military men as heroes. In every other way it completely failed to deliver. It was clearly only developed as a sequel so the writers could avoid the exposition required in a standalone film. It had barely any connection to the original movie in either story or feel. They removed the best parts of the original - psychological horror and human moral dilemmas - and set up a predictable and passionless plot. Don't bother, there are better ways to spend your time.

Didn't take this one through and not as good as the original. But only part that I really loved and I'd give it 5 stars for the scene alone. Was the opening part of the movie

Sadly not as good as the original so when 28 months later comes out go back to the original director and writers.
