About this movie

Hailed as the most frightening film since The Exorcist, acclaimed Director Danny Boyle's visionary take on zombie horror "isn't just scary it's absolutely terrifying" (Access Hollywood).

An infirmary patient awakens from a coma to an empty room in a vacant hospital in a deserted city. A powerful virus, which locks victims into a permanent state of murderous rage, has transformed the world around him into a seemingly desolate wasteland. Now a handful of survivors must fight to stay alive, unaware that the worst is yet to come.

Absolute rubbish. Very bad acting, cheap effects. Google eyed zombies making silly sounds. Very disappointed after spending the cash 9n renting the movie. I do not understand how people get away with writing clap l8ke, %”scariest movie since The Excorsist.” Don’t bother with this cheap, corny, wooden, z grade rubbish.

Don't read the idiotic reviews from those imbeciles who want to comment on its originality and picture quality. Despite being based on a comic book, The Walking Dead's visual style owes a lot to this film. In fact, most zombie films do. It was deliberately filmed on video for a low-res, gritty feel. Brutal, simple story told well and highly influential.

One of the best zombie films out there Some people are commenting, this movie has "bad quality" or "poor script writing and directing" now you are entitled to have your opinion regardless. The fact about this movie in my opinion, this is one of the first ever zombie films where you see zombies run along with 28 weeks later. I also believe this film started a trend so that other directors make other zombie films such as "dawn of the dead (2004) World war z, train to busuan, deadset (2008)
