About this movie

Award-winning director Damon Gameau embarks on a journey to explore what the future would look like by the year 2040 if we simply embraced the best solutions already available to us to improve our planet and shifted them into the mainstream. Structured as a visual letter to his 4-year-old daughter, Damon blends traditional documentary footage with dramatised sequences and high-end visual effects to create a vision board for his daughter and our planet.

Watched the first 20mins, then got sick. Went back to watch it but unfortunately I was sick for too long so I wasted $4.99. Movie up until that point felt very shallow & very obvious. I will never know now :( . Oh well, better the $4.99 go to someone trying to do something useful rather than the Fossil fuel industry

Excellent p.s. Why do our "leaders" think we have a choice? It's either our version of this future 2040. Or extinction. I'm dumb founded at the lack of empathy for their own children, Grandkids etc. Who (will) inherit their mistakes. I.e. At this rate, The future looks like another dark age. 1000 yrs of stagnation. A. Great way to have explained it all. I didn't have a very good grip on it and what was happening and this opened my mind to it all in a better way. Very educational and very easy to understand. If only I could get some people to watch it.
