Intelligent and enjoyable sci-fi adventure; more modest in approach than 2001, but it doesn't embarrass its predecessor, which is quite a feat in itself, really.

Great cast ;a well adapted script. Also great effects A follow up story set after 2001 Not as highbrow as the original.Hal900 brought back.. Stands up to countless views.

A good adaptation of his second of four in the series of books. Like the first film, it's not a completely accurate copy of the book. However, it is still a good film. I wish they'd make the other two films, 2060 and 3001.
