10 Cloverfield Lane

I really wanted to like this. This just does not have enough wit or smarts to be classified as science fiction. HW not only sold out but can no longer put true sci fi scripts together. Sci fi is not meant to be simple or just about the choice between the lesser of two evils. Save yourself the money and time and get Primer,Predestination, Automata or the Signal if you are craving a true low budget sci fi. To sum up - its mentally cheap. I felt stupider rather than enriched watching this. I feel ripped off.

Perhaps not "Science" fiction (far to much is assigned that name these days without real consideration for its true meaning) but more suspense fantasy fiction. However, still not a bad film. Wouldn't give it more than 3 stars but would definitely say its better than some have given it credit for and yet those same people wonder why we see a lack of original content these days.

The movie was really good but towards the end when she's running to her car then theirs a Fuck en alien come on that just ruined the movie but I hope they make a second one and theirs no aliens like in independence day.
