Our take

Scandinavia has a long history of tying the erotic to the cinematic (look no further than 50s exploitation nudies and—gasp!—Bergman’s Summer with Monika). Forget the arthouse, here’s a true sleazy charmer, centering on the titular nymphomaniac and co-starring, of all people, Stellan Skarsgård!
