Wild China
This six-part nature documentary series reveals one of the world's most enigmatic countries - one filled with natural complexity, picturesque landscapes and colourful people - all spectacularly captured, from the Himalayas to the tropical islands, using high-definition cameras. The series was filmed over 16 months and involved a half-million miles of travel, with footage being shot in 26 of China's 30 provinces. Topics covered in the series include the climate and terrain of South China, which is ideal for rice cultivation, and the Tibetan Plateau.
