Van Helsing

After being bitten by a shape-shifting Elder vampire that is loyal to the Van Helsing clan, Vanessa is once again resurrected and forced to confront her family's legacy. At Crooked Falls, Axel, Scarlett, and the others fend off Blak Tek's forces who hope to add Scarlett to their list of lab rats.

While pursuing its 'totem' (one of four keys to raising the Dark One) the First Elder leads Vanessa, Scarlett, and Axel to an insane asylum full of powerful vampires they've never encountered before, as well as introducing them to the legacy of a long dead Van Helsing relative.

Through the powers of the First Elder, Vanessa is sent to Colonial Hong Kong into the living memories of her distant ancestor, Lily Van Helsing. By partnering with skilled vampire hunter Master Tsui, Vanessa learns to control her dark side and faces off against the evil B'ah, the second vampire Elder.

After reminiscing about his time in juvenile detention, Sam comes to realize his dark destiny. While Sam tries to groom Mohamad to be a worthy partner, they once again encounter and attack the Johnson family. Scab and Ivory are violently bestowed Daywalker powers and return home to find the Sisterhood in ruins.

Following the Second Elder's trail to San Francisco, Vanessa, Scarlett and Axel meet the ragtag remnants of an army platoon and a feisty group of survivors, then face off against the Second Elder's forces. In Denver, Flesh, Doc, Julius and Jolene rejoin American civilization as best they can.

In San Francisco, Vanessa hunts down the Second Elder who has both the cure to Scarlett's poisoning and holds Axel in captivity. In Denver, Julius helps Flesh come to terms with his past atrocities. Doc and Jolene discover a sinister secret behind Denver's safe-zone.
