Obsessed with Dunbar's suicide, Rowan is just as surprised as her comrades to see Hailey come back to class. Mysterious messages from Monkeyman's account prevent Rowan from returning to normal life.

Hailey returns to high school and learns Rowan received a message from Monkeyman. Zoe makes her appearance. Jake bids farewell to Elisia and Rowan. During auditions, Hailey is frightened by several boys wearing animal masks.

While Hailey meets her new guardian, Rowan discovers disturbing information about the investigation into Dunbar's suicide. While searching for Ash at the Grotto, Elisia is attacked.

Nicki in turn finds herself involved in the story. For his part, Rowan searches Brandon's room to find evidence that could confirm his suspicions. Hawk pushes Hailey out of her lethargy and into her future.

Rowan, Elisia and Hailey meet Stinger, who has been digging all sorts of information about Zoo for a long time. They have to decide if they trust the information they receive. A shocking video with creepy content stops Hailey.

The threat from The Zoo is growing as it is clear that they do not intend to limit themselves to intimidation tactics and the girls are starting to wonder if there are others who are getting messages as well.
