Crews and Dani have opposing views about an alcoholic homeless man who witnessed the murder of one half of a wealthy gay couple, especially when the dead man's neighbours dispute the vagabond's testimony.

Crews and Reese investigate when a woman dressed as an angel is thrown from a window, and discover links to a Russian mobster. Crews also continues looking into the crime for which he was wrongly imprisoned.

Dani seeks Crews's help when she encounters a rapist at her AA meeting who she believes will attack again. After meeting his last victim and discovering that the woman will not testify against thim, Dani stakes the guilty man out.
