Krystle Jennings plans to wed wealthy Blake Carrington but has an unexpected reunion with an old love, Matthew Blaisdel.

Blake and Krystle reconcile. Matthew meets with his wife and daughter and learns Blake has sabotaged a friend's oil rig.

Blake and Krystle's honeymoon is interrupted when troubles arise with his Middle East oil leases. Matthew and Walter's partnership starts dismally, Krystle attempts to adjust to her new life.

Blake invites Matthew and Walter to a dinner party that doesn't go well, Fallon teaches Krystle how the rich do things, Jeff and Fallon skinny dip in the swimming pool, Cecil offers to help Blake.

Cecil helps Blake with his money problems, Jeff and Fallon get married, Michael Culhane is jealous of the wedding, Steven gets a visit from his gay friend, Ted Dinard, from New York.

Blake expresses his wish to have a child. The shady terms behind Fallon's marriage are revealed to Blake. Claudia shares her suspicions of Matthew with a psychiatrist and Steven becomes attracted to Claudia.
