'Allo 'Allo!

René is managing to keep the Germans out of his hair, until the Resistance commandeer his cafe to hide two British airmen and the Gestapo arrive on the trail of looted art.

Hitler sends Herr Flick to retrieve a valuable painting, so René tries to mislead them by creating a forged version and smuggles out the original.

During an escape attempt, Fairfax and Carstairs are captured by the Communist Resistance, and carrier pigeons for secret messages end up on the cafe's menu.

A tailor arrives to measure up Captain Geering and Colonel von Strohm, and an explosive bottle of gin is doing the rounds and arrives in the cafe. Edith gives it to her mother - for medicinal purposes.

René is captured by German troops while on a sabotage mission and imprisoned by General von Klinkerhoffen, who orders General von Strohm to make his punishment severe.

Following his supposed execution, René finds himself having to arrange his own funeral in order to satisfy Herr Flick, who hopes to use the occasion for a spot of Resistance-spotting.
