Description
Agatha Christie’s much-loved female detective, Miss Marple continues her reign as the grande dame of the genre.
Julia McKenzie gives an outstanding performance, perfectly capturing Agatha Christie’s iconic amateur detective - and the innocent exterior which harbours a razor- sharp mind. When the death of a fellow guest interrupts her Caribbean respite, Marple is unconvinced by the diagnosis of a heart attack, or the threat of voodoo, and cannot rest until she has uncovered the truth. Back in St Mary Mead, Marple rescues a young friend, but they soon find themselves in an even more deadly situation. Stunning locations, beautiful period costumes and a superb cast are the trademarks of these classic productions, based on the works of the world’s best- selling novelist.
