The Addams Family

Spooky black comedy featuring starring a creepily oddball clan who find life (or death) gets complicated when a stranger turns up on the doorstep claiming to be their long-lost Uncle Fester (Christopher Lloyd). The ghouls are frighteningly headed up by Anjelica Huston's Morticia, a symphony in black, white and blood-red, and matriarch to the Gothic family whose pet is Thing, a severed hand. Raul Julia is her suavely scary husband while daughter Christina Ricci is a perfectly poker-faced malevolent child.
