Banshee, The Complete Series

Series Premiere. In a bizarre twist of fate, a recently paroled master thief assumes the identity of Lucas Hood, sheriff-in-waiting of Banshee, PA--the same town where his former partner and lover, who changed her name to Carrie, relocated and remarried years ago. Keeping his history a secret as he awaits forged papers, Lucas befriends boxer-turned-bartender Sugar Bates, and settles into his new life as Banshee's sheriff. Itching for the thrill of thievery and yearning for Carrie, who is now the wife of attorney Gordon Hopewell and mother of two, Lucas inadvertently gets tangled up in the rampant corruption of shunned Amish gangster Kai Proctor, while keeping a vigilant eye out for Mr. Rabbit, the New York-based mob boss who wants revenge against Lucas and Carrie for the jewel heist that landed Lucas in prison. A party thrown by Proctor for the new sheriff is spoiled by a crasher--a member of the redneck Moody clan who despise Amish people in general and Kai in particular.

A desperate underling of Kai Proctor, named Hanson, decides to hold a rave in an Amish barn, selling homemade E pills stolen from Proctor to Banshee youth including Deva, Carrie's rebellious daughter. Catching wind of the plan, Lucas and his team orchestrate a raid, but the effects of a tainted batch of pills send many revelers into convulsions, with one notable fatality. Though Deva is ferried to the safety of her home by Lucas, Hanson isn't as fortunate as he returns to Kai's mansion following the debacle.

A mixed martial arts title bout is being planned at the local Kinaho Moon Casino, run by tribe leader Benjamin Longshadow and his son Alex. Huge profits are anticipated for Banshee investors, but the enterprise is threatened when the champion arrives and shows off his black-and-blue colors, angering Lucas and especially Siobahn. Will Lucas keep his mouth shut and allow the fight to go on as planned?

A botched museum heist in Harrisburg has unintended consequences, as Lucas, Carrie and Job renew their partnership, at least for the moment. Later, after coercing redneck henchman Arno to offer up incriminating evidence, Lucas and Emmett arrest Proctor for Hanson's murder, but are detoured on the way to the jail. Sugar looks for a cut; Kendall gets roughed up; Lucas and Carrie love the ones they're with.

A band of marauding bikers crash the annual Banshee Spirit Festival, with deadly consequences, sparking Lucas and Siobahn to mete out some vigilante justice. Burned after losing his key witness against Proctor, Lucas is further dismayed when an FBI agent, Xavier, arrives to monitor the situation. Rebecca Bowman, torn between passion and her Amish roots, finds a kindred spirit in the sheriff.

An ex-con from Lucas' past named Wicks passes through Banshee, triggering prison memories for Lucas about the Albino, a brutal insider enlisted by Rabbit to make Lucas' prison life a living hell. Proctor turns to extortion when a local reverend refuses to sell his home to make room for a casino hotel.

Lucas' cover is threatened when Carrie, in an effort to protect herself and her family, decides to give him over to Rabbit. Meanwhile, a drugstore robbery turns into a full-blown hostage crisis at the local high school, with Deva and Mayor Kendall's wife Janie among those whose lives are imperiled.

Carrie urges Lucas to let go of the past, even as an increasingly suspicious Gordon is hell-bent on uncovering hers. Cast out of her Amish home, Rebecca turns to Proctor to give her a new start in Banshee. A surprise visit from Rabbit's lieutenant, Olek, a.k.a. Widow's Peak, brings back a flood of memories for Carrie. As his family keeps vigil for the ailing Benjamin Longshadow, Alex gets a surprise visit from his sister Nola.

As Rabbit closes in on Carrie and Lucas, Carrie flees the hospital in a desperate attempt to collect her family and get them out of town. Kai introduces Rebecca to the business world, and sends Lucas a message about fooling around with his niece. Alex Longshadow recruits a Proctor thug with gambling issues to deal with a work-stoppage problem at the casino.

Season 1 Finale. Recalling a series of prison therapy sessions that fueled his hatred of Rabbit, and pressed by Xavier's insistence that the FBI handle a kidnapping case, Lucas makes a decision that will change the collective fate of Carrie, her family, Sugar, Job and the entire Banshee police force. A special delivery at Alex's doorstep leads Nola to reconsider her future; Kai teaches Rebecca the power of telecommunications.

Season Two Premiere. In the aftermath of their bloody shootout with Rabbit, Lucas, Carrie and the Banshee Sheriff's Department (BSD) are interrogated by FBI special agent Jim Racine, who metes out punishment that may, or may not, fit the crimes. Meanwhile, Proctor sets his sights on persuading Rebecca to return to his care. As Gordon stews over his wife's betrayal, Deva shows off her resourcefulness after being caught shoplifting in a mall. Later, a straightforward armored-truck robbery turns into a dangerous high-speed chase involving a mysterious motorcycle pursuer.

Spurned by Deva and Gordon, Carrie is forced to take up a new residence. With his leadership abilities questioned by rival George Hunter and the tribal council, Alex ramps up his efforts to recover the money stolen in the casino heist. Siobhan relives a nightmare when her ex-husband, Breece Connors, shows up looking to reconnect. Lucas is asked to return Proctor's favor.

A shocking murder near an Amish farm fractures relations between the Kinaho tribe and the Amish, who are forced to rely on Proctor to fend off a vengeful mob. Investigating the crime on Kinaho turf, Lucas and his deputies find themselves confronted by uncooperative gang members and their imposing leader, Chayton Littlestone. Meanwhile, Carrie welcomes an unexpected visitor, while Lucas deals with the sudden appearance of a most unwelcome one.

Following a lead from Brock, Lucas visits a strict Amish schoolteacher who might have insights into the murder of Kinaho tribe member Lana Cleary--and the disappearance of Solomon Bowman. Emmett and Siobhan find transferring a captive Chayton more difficult than expected. Rebecca copes with the pain of her parents' rejection. Proctor offers Alex a peace offering.

Lucas considers moving on after he and Carrie take a detour on their drive back to Banshee. Agent Racine recalls the botched case against Rabbit that has haunted him for years.

When Jason's past catches up to him, Lucas decides to make a deal in order to save the boy's life, and maybe his own. In the absence of Carrie, Gordon and Deva's lives spin out of control. Proctor teaches Rebecca a hard lesson in allegiance.

An enraged Lucas looks for some trees to shake in an effort to bring down Proctor. After rattling the regulars and strippers at the Savoy, Lucas and his deputies rough up Sharp, a junkyard skinhead, for info on a Proctor-run ecstasy operation. A family crisis brings Carrie, Deva and Gordon together; Alex faces a vote of no-confidence at the tribal council; Job shows off his explosive side.

An illegal search warrant helps Lucas bust Proctor, at a cost. Sharp and his skinheads look for payback against Emmett, testing the limits of the deputy's patience. Carrie provides the cash for Max's treatments and takes a small step towards thawing out her relationship with Gordon and Deva. Job finally gets a lead on Rabbit.

In New York, Job drops in on a priest with ties to Rabbit, taking a hit for his troubles. Carrie's relationship with Gordon faces a new test in the wake of another revelation. Burton silences one traitor, but another eludes him. Alex vows to deliver evidence to keep Proctor behind bars. Emmett moves on while Brock looks to move up. Lucas and Carrie brace for an epic showdown, as does an NYPD captain with ties to their past.

Season Two Finale. Fueled by the painful memories that led them to this point of no return, Lucas and Carrie steel themselves for the fight of their lives, against a vengeful Rabbit and his ruthless soldiers. In Banshee, Rebecca proves her allegiance as Proctor returns home.

Season Three Premiere. Lucas, Brock and Siobhan exact payback on a skinhead responsible for Emmett's death. Now waitressing at a local diner, Carrie faces new challenges in the wake of her revelation to Gordon and Deva about her past. After Alex Longshadow's death, a new, menacing threat looms on the horizon for Lucas, not to mention Proctor and Rebecca: Chayton Littlestone, hell-bent on whipping the Kinaho tribe into a frenzy of violence against their enemies. Investigating the murder of four Marines, Lucas eyes the possibility of a huge if dangerous heist, and attempts to re-enlist Job to help him and Sugar pull it off.

As Lucas and Carrie case the tunnels under Camp Genoa, Proctor and Rebecca find themselves in a territorial faceoff with two rival drug suppliers and, later, are threatened by a pair of Chayton's thugs. Lucas and new deputy Billy Raven pay a visit to a decidedly unfriendly Kinaho bar. Carrie tries to end a relationship with Colonel Douglas Stowe, who may be misrepresenting the amount of cash in Camp Genoa. Gordon hits rock bottom before resolving to turn his life around.

Lucas's secret is threatened when he's arrested by FBI Special Agent Robert Phillips, but both men end up at the mercy of Raymond Brantley, a mob kingpin with a deadly mobile agenda. Against Chayton's orders, Tommy Littlestone spearheads a second strike against Proctor at a local gentlemen's club. A revenge-minded Nola Longshadow mixes it up with Burton at Proctor's mansion.

Siobhan is torn between exposing Lucas and keeping his secret. Brock seethes upon learning that his ex, Emily, is working as a caregiver for Proctor's mom. Rebecca impresses Burton but inflames Chayton. Job and Sugar mop up critical surveillance. Carrie takes off on a thrill ride after walking out on her job. Gordon changes his mind about Proctor's plea bargain. Chayton readies his army for an assault.

All hell breaks loose as Chayton and an army of Redbones invade Banshee, looking to avenge the Tommy's death at the hands of Raven, the Kinaho tribesman-turned-deputy. Holed up in the Cadi with Lucas and his deputies, Proctor is frustrated by his inability to attend to his ailing mother at home. As the assault reaches a fever pitch, Bunker tries to prove to Medding he's not the man he used to be.

Reduced to the status of 'observer' as the FBI plans a raid on the Redbone wilderness compound, Lucas decides to take matters into his own hands in his pursuit of Chayton. Still stung by Proctor's rebuke over her initiative in dealing with the Black Beards, Rebecca is further chagrined to learn of her uncle's burgeoning romance with Emily, Brock's ex and Leah's caregiver. Deva is drawn to a handsome stranger named Charlie Knowles.

Despite Job's reservations, Lucas and his team pull off a daring heist at Camp Genoa. Lucas and Chayton are haunted by their recent deadly encounter. Calling a truce, Gordon and Carrie attempt an unusual intervention with Deva. Unbeknownst to her uncle, Rebecca heads to Philly to work out a deal with a spurned Proctor client.

Lucas and Brock head to Louisiana, and the infamous Underground fight club, in search of Chayton. Stowe pieces together details about the Camp Genoa heist, and who might be responsible. Burton's torment turns to resolve; Sugar looks to repay an old boxing debt; Rebecca's initiatives put Proctor and Emily in harm's way.

Lucas recalls the history of his friendship with Job, while pondering the future--if there indeed will be one. Proctor and Emily pay the price for Rebecca's recklessness; Carrie and Gordon pick up the pieces of their shattered relationship; Stowe and Leo land a big fish; Bunker reconnects with his skinhead past; Deva gets a lesson about crime and punishment.

Season Three Finale. As Lucas recalls a secret chapter in his life, Job gets special treatment from a fan of his work, while blaming Carrie for blowing the group's cover. Unexpectedly joined by Gordon, Lucas prepares to return to Genoa for a final negotiation with Stowe, or die trying. Bunker vows to shut down the Brotherhood, but his brother Calvin isn't about to back down. Joined by Rebecca and a new ally, Proctor heads to Philly to settle a score with Frazier and the Black Beards. After a bloody denouement in Banshee, Brock finally gets what he's been wishing for.

Season Four Premiere. Haunted by his inability to locate Job following his abduction from Camp Genoa, Lucas returns to Banshee to find the town dramatically changed--with a new sheriff, a new mayor, and a serial murderer on the loose. Carrie, still guilt-ridden over the death of her husband Gordon, undergoes court-sanctioned therapy and looks to distract herself in familiar, violent, ways. Scarred but unbowed, Bunker finds what comfort he can apart from his lonely life as a deputy, while his skinhead brother Calvin takes his job frustrations out on a Redbone tribe member who breached a territorial drug agreement with Proctor.

With her hunt for Job yielding no leads, Carrie vents her frustration by embarking on a vigilante crusade against members of the Brotherhood. Aaron Boedicker, a hillbilly meth dealer with ties to Rebecca, tempts fate by bringing his product into Banshee. Proctor reprimands Calvin for profiting from a seedy side business, and looks to expand his drug trade by partnering with a Colombian kingpin. Lucas beats Brock and Bunker to a person of interest in the serial-murder case, but ends up finding himself under suspicion.

With new intel from Fat Au, Lucas and Carrie follow a Genoa lead in a last-ditch attempt to free Job, though the price is steep. Proctor finds that generosity sometimes goes unrewarded. Bunker finds a salve for his wounds, while a frustrated Calvin bristles under the yoke of an incarcerated master. Lucas pays the price for rescuing Rebecca from Boedicker.

Special Agent Veronica Dawson arrives in Banshee to investigate the serial murders and question Lucas, already under fire from Brock about his relationship with Rebecca. Carrie carries out her most ambitious strike yet against the Brotherhood. Cruz casts a suspicious eye on Bunker. Calvin is jolted when Randall Watts, the long-imprisoned skinhead leader and Proctor ally, ends up at the Bunkers' doorstep. Another grisly murder rocks Banshee.

Calvin is tested by Watts' mercenary partnership with Proctor, whose promise to the Colombians has taken a severe hit after the torching of his factory. Following separate leads in the serial-killer case, Dawson and Lucas converge in a members-only Goth club replete with painful SM initiation rites. Proctor, through Burton, sends a forceful message to his Amish kin. Brock vows justice in a televised press conference. Cruz scopes out Carrie's fortress while Sugar helps a displaced Lucas find familiar lodgings.

With help from Lucas, Dawson narrows her search for Declan Bode, a Satanist 'person of interest' in Banshee's serial murders. An emboldened Calvin throws down a gauntlet to Proctor, and to Kurt. Carrie's recent vigilantism ends up putting both her and Deva in peril.

Fearing for Dawson's safety, Lucas and Brock ramp up their efforts to hunt down Bode. With the Brotherhood poised to go to war with Proctor, Kurt looks to keep Maggie safe while Calvin takes out his frustrations at the office. Job settles a score with Leo Fitzpatrick, a Camp Genoa adversary.

Series finale. Banshee braces for an uncertain future, as the hit Cinemax drama series concludes.
