After Lucifer wakes up in the desert with wings, he and Chloe try to find out what happened to him. Newcomer Lieutenant Marcus Pierce makes a poor impression because of his stern demeanour. Lucifer finds himself in another compromising situation.

Linda starts to believe that Lucifer's not taking care of his own well-being when he yet again removes his wings. She thinks he's too focused on tracking down the Sinnerman.

The killing of a youth counsellor prompts Lucifer and Chloe to enter the world of high-end reform programs in search of the person responsible. Amenadiel changes his lifestyle, while Chloe contemplates Pierce's feelings toward her.

A food chemist is found dead and Lucifer and Chloe's investigation unexpectedly pits them against criminal defence attorney Charlotte Richards.

Lucifer and Ella go to Las Vegas to find Candy after she goes missing. Secrets are revealed along the way that could compromise the investigation. Chloe is upset that Lucifer left on her birthday, so Linda tries to lift her spirits.
