Fast-talking lawyer Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) enrolls at Greendale Community College after the State Bar discovered his illegitimate degree and threatened to suspend his license. When Jeff pretends to be a Spanish tutor to get close to his classmate Britta (Gillian Jacobs), he winds up with an entire study group of students looking for his help. Pierce (Chevy Chase), Abed (Danny Pudi), Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown), Annie (Alison Brie), Troy (Donald Glover), and Britta comprise the band of misfits that Jeff never asked for, but may end up needing when he realizes his connection to Greendale professor Ian Duncan (John Oliver) won't pay off like he hoped.

Jeff's (Joel McHale) efforts to win over Britta (Gillian Jacobs) backfire, and he finds himself paired up with Pierce (Chevy Chase) for their Spanish class project. The two give teacher Señor Chang (Ken Jeong) the presentation of a lifetime. Meanwhile, inspired by Britta's awareness of social issues, Annie (Alison Brie) and Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) stage a protest on Greendale's campus.

Jeff (Joel McHale) thinks he has found an easy "A" with a laid back, no-books-allowed class. He suffers a rude awakening, however, when the free-spirited professor (John Michael Higgins) sees through his lazy attitude. Meanwhile, Britta (Gillian Jacobs) meddles in Abed's (Danny Pudi) education and finds herself at odds with his father (Iqbal Theba).

Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) and Jeff (Joel McHale) bond over their common love of trash talk, while Jeff and campus hippie Vaughn (Eric Christian Olsen) compete for Britta's (Gillian Jacobs) affection. Meanwhile, Annie (Alison Brie) uses Abed (Danny Pudi) and Troy (Donald Glover) as guinea pigs for a psych class experiment, and Pierce (Chevy Chase) gets hip to modern technology with a hearing aid.

Señor Chang (Ken Jeong) invokes an inquisition and trial when one of the gang cheats on an exam. Annie (Alison Brie) enlists Pierce (Chevy Chase) to help her compose Greendale's new school song, and Troy (Donald Glover) educates Abed (Danny Pudi) on the art of joking.

Annie (Alison Brie) and Jeff (Joel McHale) play tug-of-war with Troy's (Donald Glover) football future to serve their own best interests. Meanwhile, Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) is shocked when she finds out that Britta (Gillian Jacobs) is unfamiliar with social female practices, i.e. going to the bathroom in pairs. Pierce (Chevy Chase) helps Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) design the new Greendale school mascot.

It's Halloween at Greendale, and Jeff (Joel McHale) has the hots for one of his teachers (Lauren Stamile) and gets dating advice from Señor Chang (Ken Jeong). Meanwhile Annie (Alison Brie) throws a "Dia de los Muertos" party for extra credit.

Britta (Gillian Jacobs) tries to rid Jeff (Joel McHale) of his materialistic ways. Meanwhile Pierce (Chevy Chase) joins a rock band on campus, and Annie (Alison Brie) grudgingly helps Troy (Donald Glover) plan a date with another girl.

Jeff (Joel McHale) gets suckered into joining the debate team with Annie (Alison Brie) for the big match up against rival City College. Pierce (Chevy Chase) helps Britta (Gillian Jacobs) with her smoking habit, and Abed's (Danny Pudi) films creep out the group.

Señor Chang (Ken Jeong) has become the teacher from hell, and the group nominates Jeff (Joel McHale) to intervene. Meanwhile Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) have trouble with a lab rat experiment, and Pierce (Chevy Chase) helps Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) with public speaking.

Jeff (Joel McHale) and Pierce (Chevy Chase) get lucky in love when they double date at the Greendale STD Fair. Meanwhile Annie (Alison Brie) gets a lesson in sex education.

Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) tries to get everyone in the Christmas spirit, but Jeff (Joel McHale) threatens her holiday cheer when he decides to fight the school bully (guest star Anthony Michael Hall).

Everyone's vibe is thrown off when an unwanted outsider tries to join the study group. Meanwhile, Jeff (Joel McHale) becomes the new editor of Greendale's school newspaper and appoints Annie (Alison Brie) as his ace reporter.

Britta (Gillian Jacobs) and Troy (Donald Glover) hide a secret talent from the group, while Jeff (Joel McHale) tries to hide his love life. Meanwhile Pierce (Chevy Chase) is the subject of Abed's (Danny Pudi) new documentary.

Britta (Gillian Jacobs) and Jeff (Joel McHale) stage an intervention when Annie (Alison Brie) gets cozy with Vaughn (Eric Christian Olsen). Meanwhile Pierce (Chevy Chase) struggles to prove his wit when he crashes Abed (Danny Pudi) and Troy’s (Donald Glover) movie night.

When Britta (Gillian Jacobs) drunk dials Jeff (Joel McHale) things get awkward between them and Jeff attempts to repair their relationship. Meanwhile, Annie (Alison Brie) and Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) conspire to humiliate Señor Chang (Ken Jeong).

Jeff (Joel McHale) is forced to shelve his vanity when the coach of his new billiards class cramps his style. Meanwhile, the gang tries to meddle in Abed's (Danny Pudi) love life after discovering he has an admirer.

"Family Day" stirs up trouble at Greendale as values clash and Jeff (Joel McHale) falls for Pierce's (Chevy Chase) stepdaughter (guest star Katharine McPhee).

The gang signs up for some "easy A" courses in the new semester. Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) shines in sailing class, while Jeff's (Joel McHale) popularity is threatened by the "cool" guy in his pottery class.

Britta (Gillian Jacobs) attempts to pull an April Fool's prank to prove she's not a buzzkill, but it goes terribly wrong. Meanwhile, Annie (Alison Brie) and Abed (Danny Pudi) join the campus security squad, and Pierce (Chevy Chase) is convinced he's a wizard.

Jeff (Joel McHale) and Troy (Donald Glover) take on the chicken finger shortage that has a gripped Greendale Community College. Witnessing this show of activism by her fellow students causes Britta (Gillian Jacobs) to struggle with the unsatisfactory number of causes she currently supports.

A STUDY GROUP DIVIDED - After Pierce (Chevy Chase) crosses a line with Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown), the group is forced to choose between the two. Meanwhile, Jeff (Joel McHale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) face off against a group of young bullies, and their mother (guest star Lisa Rinna). Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) embark on a college “bucket list” of things they must accomplish before they graduate. Alison Brie and Ken Jeong also star.

JEFF AND BRITTA'S SEXUAL TENSION HEATS UP? The sexual tension between Jeff (Joel McHale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) becomes a hot topic among the study group. Meanwhile, what starts out as a simple contest for a chance at early class registration turns the peaceful campus of Greendale Community College into an all-out war zone. Friendships are tested, as only one student can be victorious.

THE TRUTH ABOUT SEÑOR CHANG IS REVEALED - After the shocking discovery that Señor Chang (Ken Jeong) does not have a teaching degree, Greendale Community College is forced to bring in a new Spanish teacher. It's the last day of the semester, and the gang attends the annual "Transfer Formal." Jeff (Joel McHale) is caught between Britta (Gillian Jacobs) and Professor Slater (Lauren Stamile). Meanwhile, Annie (Alison Brie) questions her relationship with Vaughn (Eric Christian Olsen), and Abed (Danny Pudi) and Troy's (Donald Glover) friendship is put to the test.

" Television icon and multiple Emmy Award-winner Betty White (“The Golden Girls”) guest stars as the esteemed, but slightly unhinged anthropology professor, June Bauer. Jeff Winger (Joel McHale), struggles to establish decorum with Britta (Gillian Jacobs) and Annie (Alison Brie) amidst the confusion that ensued at the season finale’s “Transfer Dance,” when Britta professed her love for Jeff and Jeff later shared a secret kiss with Annie. Meanwhile, Señor Chang (Ken Jeong) decides to enroll as a student at Greendale Community College so that he too, can join the study group. DREW CAREY (“The Price is Right”) AND ROB CORDDRY (“Hot Tub Time Machine”) GUEST STAR AS JEFF WINGER’S (JOEL MCHALE) FORMER LAW FIRM COLLEAGUES AS JEFF TAKES A WISTFUL TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE – When Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) runs into his former law firm colleague Alan Connor (Rob Corddry), the two re-connect and Jeff finds himself returning to some of his evil ways of late night partying and expensive suits. Alan takes Jeff to a law firm event to see his former boss, Ted (Drew Carey), and the study group shows up to “rescue” him. While Annie (Alison Brie), Abed (Danny Pudi) and Troy (Donald Glover) sneak into the offices to gather dirt on Alan, Jeff watches in horror as Pierce (Chevy Chase), Britta (Gillian Jacobs) and Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) are corrupted by the lawyers. THE PSYCHOLOGY OF LETTING GO Pierce (Chevy Chase) deals with the death of his mother and the group comes together to comfort him in his time of need. Professor Duncan (John Oliver) struggles to take over the anthropology class with no training, as Professor Bauer (Betty White) takes an unexpected leave of absence after her classroom hijinks put Jeff Winger (Joel McHale) in the hospital. BASIC ROCKET SCIENCE GREENDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE JOINS THE SPACE RACE AS THE SCHOOL GETS ITS FIRST “FLIGHT SIMULATOR” – Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) decides that Greendale Community College must have its own flight simulator and cannot be bested by the competition, “City College,” which is planning its own flight simulator. He enlists the study group to clean and refurbish the Greendale Community College simulator. As Jeff (Joel McHale), Pierce (Chevy Chase), Britta (Gillian Jacobs), Annie (Alison Brie), Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) and Troy (Donald Glover) wash the tattered simulator down, they end up accidentally launching it – sending everyone on an unexpected journey into “outer space.” Abed (Danny Pudi) is left behind to try and navigate a safe “return” for everyone. SHIRLEY AND ABED QUARREL OVER A FILM AND PIERCE JOINS A GANG OF ELDERLY REBELS—Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) gets inspired to create a religious film and asks Abed (Danny Pudi) for his creative input only to discover that he wants to make one of his own. Meanwhile, Pierce (Chevy Chase) comes to terms with being the oldest member of the group and is recruited by another set of students his own age. Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Donald Glover, Gillian Jacobs and Ken Jeong also star.

INFECTION SPREADS AT GREENDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE CAUSING A WALKING NIGHTMARE -- Pierce (Chevy Chase) and a few other Greendale students ingest a biohazard substance at the school Halloween Party, causing them to exhibit flu-like symptoms and begin turning into zombies. It is up to the rest of the gang to save themselves and the school when Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) locks them in with the zombie-infected student body. Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Yvette Nicole Brown, Donald Glover, Danny Pudi, Gillian Jacobs and Ken Jeong also star.

ABED FINDS HIS INNER “MEAN GIRL” WHILE JEFF AND TROY STUMBLE UPON A SECRET GARDEN-- HILARY DUFF GUEST STARS-- After a classroom smackdown with a group of “mean girls” led by Meghan (guest star Hilary Duff), Britta (Gillian Jacobs), Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown), and Annie (Alison Brie) bond with Abed (Danny Pudi) by turning him into the ultimate "mean girl." Meanwhile, Jeff (Joel McHale) and Troy (Donald Glover) embrace a zen-like spirituality under the guidance of a groundskeeper when they come across a secret trampoline on campus. Determined to uncover the source of their new bliss, Pierce (Chevy Chase) ends up taking a disastrous turn on the trampoline and lands in the hospital. Ken Jeong also stars.

IT’S LOCKDOWN IN THE STUDY ROOM WHEN ANNIE’S FAVORITE PEN GOES MISSING AND SHE SUSPECTS A MEMBER OF THE STUDY GROUP — When Annie's (Alison Brie) pen goes missing, she suspects a member of her own study group is the thief. On a mission to find the pen and solve the mystery, the group takes a self-imposed lockdown and Jeff (Joel McHale) takes the lead in conducting the search. Meanwhile, Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) are itching to get out of the study room to make it to the Greendale Puppy Parade taking place in the quad. JEFF WINGER IS ON THE HOT SEAT WHEN IT APPEARS HE HAS FABRICATED A CLASS FOR CREDIT – KEVIN CORRIGAN GUEST STARS -- When Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) begins checking class schedules, he discovers that Jeff (Joel McHale) has listed a class that doesn’t exist. Just when it appears Jeff will be caught in a lie, the mysterious “Professor Professorson” (Kevin Corrigan “The Departed”) emerges from the shadows to confirm that Jeff has been taking his class, “Conspiracy Theories in U.S. History,” at night school. When Jeff later admits to Annie (Alison Brie) that he’s never seen Professor Professorson in his life, the two decide to find out who the professor really is. Meanwhile, Abed (Danny Pudi) and Troy (Donald Glover) are busy building the most elaborate blanket fort that Greendale Community College has ever seen. TROY GETS MORE THAN HE BARGAINED FOR WHEN THE STUDY GROUP GATHERS TO CELEBRATE HIS BIRTHDAY – When the study group convenes to celebrate Troy’s (Donald Glover) birthday, they realize he is actually turning 21 and decide to hit the bars! While Jeff (Joel McHale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) ingest a few too many cocktails and get silly, Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) gets busy pulling down incriminating photos of herself that are posted at the bar. Annie (Alison Brie) embraces the identify on her fake ID, while Abed (Danny Pudi) delves into conversation with a fellow sci-fi nerd. Chevy Chase also stars.

IN THIS SPECIAL STOP MOTION ANIMATION EPISODE, THE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS IS LOST AND ABED’S INTENSE FIXATION ON CHRISTMAS CONCERNS THE GROUP —When Abed (Danny Pudi) wakes up in stop-motion animation, he takes it as a sign that he and the group must re-discover the meaning of Christmas. Meanwhile, Jeff (Joel McHale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) become growingly concerned about Abed's mental health and enlist the help of Professor Duncan (John Oliver). When his over-the-top behavior threatens to ruin the production, Senor Chang (Ken Jeong) comes to the rescue, earning admiration from the group. IT’S VALENTINE’S DAY AND LOVE IS IN THE AIR AT GREENDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE – ANDY DICK GUEST STARS, JOHN OLIVER (“The Daily Show”) RETURNS AS PROFESSOR DUNCAN – Troy (Donald Glover) and Abed (Danny Pudi) compete for the attention of the college librarian, while Britta (Gillian Jacobs) strives to be progressive and befriends a fellow female student whom she believes is gay. Meanwhile, Jeff (Joel McHale) finds himself reluctantly hosting an impromptu party at his apartment when Professor Duncan (John Oliver) invites himself over to watch a soccer match. PIERCE LANDS IN THE HOSPITAL AFTER AN UNFORTUNATE INCIDENT AND THE GROUP GATHERS AS HE BEQUEATHS HIS “FINAL” GIFTS – LEVAR BURTON GUEST STARS – Pierce (Chevy Chase) ends up in the hospital after ingesting mysterious pills and believes he’s dying. The study group gathers at his bedside as he imparts his “final” words of wisdom and shares specially chosen gifts – which are secretly meant to torment them. Britta (Gillian Jacobs) struggles over what to do with her blank check for “charity,” Jeff (Joel McHale) contemplates the possibility of meeting his long lost dad and Troy (Donald Glover) meets his idol LeVar Burton (“Star Trek: The Next Generation”). THE VICE PRESIDENT IS SET TO VISIT GREENDALE COMMUNITY COLLEGE AND THE SCHOOL HOLDS ITS FIRST STUDENT BODY ELECTION – As the school prepares for the Vice President’s visit, Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) organizes the first student elections. Annie (Alison Brie), who is determined to win, is pitted in a tough battle against Jeff (Joel McHale), Leonard (Richard Erdman) and Star Burns (Dino Stamatopoulos). Meanwhile, Abed (Danny Pudi) has noticed the secret service agents casing the school and develops a clandestine friendship with special agent Robin Vohlers (Eliza Coupe, "Scrubs"). When Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) and her ex-husband, Andre (guest star Malcolm-Jamal Warner) enlist Jeff (Joel McHale) to legally cut Chang (Ken Jeong) out of any claim on Shirley’s new baby, the former Spanish teacher resolves to be the best father he can be. Meanwhile, Britta (Gillian Jacobs) learns that Abed (Danny Pudi) and Troy’s (Donald Glover) new best friend is a ruthless war criminal.

Though he and his friends have arranged an elaborate Pulp Fiction-themed birthday party for Abed (Danny Pudi), Jeff (Joel McHale) is the one who’s surprised when Abed insists on a grown up dinner at an expensive restaurant for just the two of them. However, as the rest of the study group is at a nearby diner waiting to surprise him, Abed reveals a dramatic surprise of his own.

Jeff (Joel McHale) suspects something isn’t quite right when an attractive classmate gets engaged to marry Pierce (Chevy Chase). Meanwhile, as Troy (Donald Glover) invents a childhood trauma to impress Britta and the rest of his acting class, Abed (Danny Pudi) challenges a professor’s (guest star Stephen Tobolowsky) theories about Who’s the Boss.

As the school year draws to a close, the study group reflects on their favorite memories from the past year in never before seen flashbacks – as the study group gathers to assemble their 20th and final anthropology diorama of the year, they begin reminiscing about their favorite times together – including a trip they made to a western ghost town, a last minute glee club performance and the array of costumes that Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) has managed to wear over the year. Meanwhile, Troy’s (Donald Glover) pet monkey returns, only to disappear back into the school’s ventilation system. Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Chevy Chase, Alison Brie, Yvette Nicole Brown, Danny Pudi and Ken Jeong also star.

IT’S THE ANTHROPOLOGY FINAL EXAM AND SHIRLEY GOES INTO LABOR – MALCOLM-JAMAL WARNER GUEST STARS – When the Anthropology class assembles for their final exam, Shirley (Yvette Nicole Brown) notices a twinge, which quickly escalates into full-blown labor. As Jeff (Joel Mchale) and Britta (Gillian Jacobs) argue about how best to help, Chang (Ken Jeong) is anxious to claim this “early” labor as clear evidence that it’s a “Chang Baby!” Meanwhile, Greendale is hosting a World Food Festival in the parking lot and a riot ensues - Dean Pelton (Jim Rash) is caught in the crossfire. Chevy Chase, Alison Brie, Donald Glover and Danny Pudi also star.

Another end-of-the-year paintball war pits the study group members against each other for a $100,000 prize. But when a mysterious challenger (guest star Josh Holloway) suddenly appears, they must join forces to stop him.

As the paintball war is revealed to be a City College plan to destroy the school, Jeff (Joel McHale) and Troy (Donald Glover) vie for control of Greendale’s embattled army. Meanwhile, upset over being shunned by the study group, Pierce (Chevy Chase) attempts to save himself by betraying them.
