Francine tries to show Steve the fine art of shoplifting so he can look cool. But Steve is caught red-handed and sent away to a sweatshop. Roger, Klaus and Hayley put together a balalaika group.

Francine's mother tells Hayley she should get back into the dating scene, and asks a potential suitor to visit. Stan is upset because the guests interfere with his plan of watching football in his underwear.
