A contemporary version of a female Huck Finn set in modern day Los Angeles during the holiday season, is the story of what happens when a child named Virginia (Paige Hurd) is abandoned by her mother Kelly, a heroin addict, leaving her in the questionable hands of her boyfriend Griffin (Godfrey).
