ಗಣೇಶ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಭಾಮಾ ಅಭಿನಯದ ಶೈಲು ಕನ್ನಡದ ಮನಕಲಕುವ ಚಿತ್ರ. ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಯಕಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ನಾಯಕ ಜೈಲಿನಿಂದ ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾ ಅವನ ಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಆತನ ಜತೆಗೆ ನಾಯಕಿಯನ್ನೂ ಕರೆತರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಮದುವೆಯಾಗಬೇಕಿದ್ದ ನಾಯಕ ಹಾಗೂ ನಾಯಕಿ ಕ್ಷುಲ್ಲಕ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾವನ್ನಪ್ಪುವುದು ಈ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಕಥೆ.
