The Thirty Million Rush
Fatty works in a bank-note-issuing bank. He knows about the incineration of thirty million old bank-notes, and plans with two friends to steal the money from the incinerator. They then invite Big Liar to execute the plot. Sister Maria, a nun, overhears their plot but she fails to tail Big Liar. She then tries to dissuade Fatty. The collaborators meet in Boxer Leung's boat. Leung is a friend of Big Liar. Sister Maria threatens to call the police, and Big Liar wants to back down. The plot seems to be abandoned. In fact, each of the collaborators has their own plan and they finally end up scrambling for the money in the incinerator. The money turns out to be ghost-offering counterfeits. In fact, Boxer Leung gets away with the fortune, and he falls into the rough sea with the money during the struggle. Their dream to get the money is shattered into pieces, and Sister Maria thanks God for their failure.
