Experiment Perilous

Hedy Lamarr stars as a beautiful wife who believes her husband is trying to drive her insane in Experiment Perilous. 1903. Psychiatrist Dr. Huntington Bailey (George Brent) becomes drawn deeper and deeper into a web of secrets, deceit and control in the Bederaux family, where Nick Bederaux (Paul Lukas) refuses to allow his wife Alida (Lamarr) to leave their home. Alida believes her husband to be a psychopath who is trying to destroy her sanity, and she begs Dr. Bailey for help. But as secrets are revealed, it becomes less and less clear who is sane and who is insane in the Bederaux family.
