Rai is a hardworking girl , helping her family with household chores and helping her father with his shop. She is known for her swimming skills but is unable to swim because of her family's financial problems. The village head's son Poltu is very attracted to Rai and wants to get a hold of her. Meanwhile, important people from the city arrive at their village, an arrangement is made to impress them and a swimming game is organised.
