C'est Comme ça Que Je T'aime

In 1974, in the quiet suburb of Sainte-Foy, two discontented couples bring their kids to summer camp. Once home, they must face the pitiful state their marriages are in. Unable to deal with their problems, they become the most infamous criminals in the history of organized crime in Quebec City.

July 1974. The Delisles and Paquettes drive their kids to summer camp. On the way back home, there’s obvious tension between the two couples. Rather than allowing them to rekindle their marriages, these three weeks without the kids are going to be a killer…

After having been the target of mysterious gunshots, Gaétan goes looking for his wife. But what if it was Huguette who tried to kill him? Her return and her explanation reassure Gaétan. For a while, at least…

With the tension between the couples at its peak, Huguette gets a visit from René, who makes her a dangerous proposition. It’s clear to him: Huguette is a stone killer. Has Huguette found her calling?

Huguette needs help from Gaétan, Serge, Micheline, and Marie-Josée to get out of a jam. Believing she has properly completed her mission, she goes to see the Kingpin and receives a very disrespectful welcome. Will she allow herself to be treated this way?

Convinced that the Kingpin is getting ready to take his revenge and believing that she represents a danger to Gaétan and their friends, Huguette leaves the city without a trace. Will Gaétan, Serge, Micheline and Marie-Josée be able to find Huguette and make sense of the danger in store for them?

Huguette, flattered by her new crime-boss reputation, is not ready to throw in the towel in her fight with the Kingpin. While Serge tries desperately to get his friends back on the right track, a new threat undermines his noble intentions.

With Micheline on a cocaine bender in Montreal with Coco and Puff, Serge tries to convince Huguette and Gaétan that it’s time for the Organization to conquer the lucrative empire created by the Kingpin in Sainte-Foy. The crime boss doesn’t take it lying down, though, and shows that he’s also capable of extreme violence.

Huguette and her gang take advantage of the Kingpin’s exile to consolidate their Organization. But they hear a worrisome rumour: apparently, the Kingpin has formed an alliance with the Popeyes, a dangerous biker gang. Three of its members - the most dangerous of all - are supposedly en route for Sainte-Foy to take on Huguette.

With Huguette having lost her eye of the tiger and the Organization in chaos, Serge and his gang are offered the key to the city by the Pointe Sainte-Foy Chamber of Commerce. The honour turns into a nightmare.

With Huguette having found her eye of the tiger again, the two couples make their way to Saint-Jean-Port-Joli to save the kids. After a merciless battle, Huguette, Gaétan, Micheline, and Serge feel the love that brought them together in the first place. They can finally envision being happy families, but not before killing a few people…
