The Warring States

During the fabled "Warring States" era of Chinese History, two young rival strategists Sun Bin (Son Hong-Lei) and Pang Juan (Frances Ng) rise through the ranks of the Wei army, their brilliance only matched by their mutual hatred. Pang eventually becomes the top Wei military leader yet despite his success he becomes jealous of Sun's close bond with their joint mentor. Pang frames Sun for treason and attempts to manipulate him into giving up his military secrets but Sun escapes, fleeing to the neighbouring Qi state. The brilliantly witted Sun ascends the Qi army, quickly becoming their ultimate military mind.
