House of Good&Evil

After a family tragedy in the city, Chris and Maggie Conley, in a last-ditch effort to save their dying marriage purchase an isolated home in the deepest woods, to which they quickly discover evil has a key. When Chris leaves for days at a time to continue his training as a firefighter, Maggie is left alone in the woods. But her emotional state deteriorates rapidly after she starts hearing ringing phones, which supposedly cannot exist, and the neighbours she's sharing a wall with, the Anderson's, are recluses one minute and arguing banshees another. Maggie is convinced there is something evil sharing their house intent on her psychological destruction. But as they desperately cling to what remains of their marriage we find that Chris and Maggie's problems runner deeper than anyone could have imagined.
