Being at Home with Claude
Yves, a prostitute, discovers love with Claude, a young intellectual from a good background torn between his family duties and his homosexual affair. At the peak of their relationship, Yves kills Claude and roams the streets of Montreal before giving himself up to the police. He confesses his guilt, but at first refuses to reveal his motive to the callous inspector questioning him. His passion finally prevails. Shamelessly, freeing a torrent of emotions that even shakes the policeman in his prejudices, Yves in the end admits he killed out of love.
