About this movie

Denzel Washington is Robert McCall, an ex-assassin with a mysterious past, who returns to action to serve vengeance for the exploited and oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends' protector by taking on the mafia.

If the subtitles in English aren't showing on your tv like mine were. Go to your tv library and play the rented copy from there. I was able to get the subtitles in English when I did that. The subtitles were not showing the Italian parts when I was streaming the tv from the "home" part of the tv. Hope this helps anyone else that experiences problems with the subtitles not showing in english.

There is no English subtitles for parts when they speak Italian and half the movie is in Italian
