Just ok, weaker than the original
hell hoise 2 is fine found footage is obviously a very weak genre so this movie still stands out. it makes sense that a place like ghe abbadon hotel would result in an endless of found footage and this movie effectively applies this to create a compelling news cast exploring the newest victims of hell house. the acting isnt atrocious but it isnt good. outside of the main cast is actually the strongest acting and the maincast doesnt exist in a meaningful enough way for their acting to bother me. the scares remain quality relying on drawn out tension begging you to scan the surroundings as if you were there with them. if you like the first one, why not watch the second? i know youve watched worse sequels

I thought the first movie was pretty effective. This sequel is terrible. The acting is atrocious. I don't recommend that anyone watch this one, just stop after the first.
