Anitomo (Movie)

Sota Nishino (Ryusei Yokohama) and Yukihiro Nanase (Tsuyoshi Furukawa) have been friends for as long as either of them can remember. Now in high school, the two friends are as inseparable as ever, often visiting each other’s homes, either to do homework or just hang out. Though Sota has frequently been to Yukihiro’s house, during his most recent visit, he notices a very unexpected change.  Also a high school student, Yukihiro's younger sister, Mai (Risaki Matsukaze) has often been around her brother’s friends, so having Sota show up at her house was no big deal. But when Mai overhears her brother’s friend comment about her looks, specifically how cute she is, Mai finds herself incredibly flustered. Though neither Sota nor Mai are very experienced when it comes to love, they find themselves drawing closer as they begin to spend more time together. Though things between the two young love birds seem to be going well, their young love is threatened when Sota’s cousin, Ituski Kaga (Koudai Matsuoka) begins to show an interest in Mai. Will the two find a way to overcome this unexpected new twist or will Mai’s young heart be swayed by the attention of a handsome new beau? Based on the manga series of the same name, written by Modomu Akagawara, “Anitomo” is a 2018 romantic comedy film directed by Ryo Nakajima.
